New Year New Blog Motivations!

Well I have to apologize for being too busy to post anything new in this blog which was made to cater to all who love to blog. A new year is also a wake up call to start new things especially a whole new perspective to blog and blogging and of course the blogger itself.

Let's start the year right with a new post this year which will focus on finding you're specialty and blogging styles which are topics that needs to be updated from time to time.

For new and seasoned bloggers, finding one's style is a constant strife that one would find himself in making both online presence and personal branding and style. As many of the bloggers would stick with the conventional and formal approach, a little twerk, uhmm... I mean tweak with certain parts of sentences can come as a surprise to readers who would love to make their reading time informative and entertaining.

With a growing population of internet users that are adapting to a whole new world of language and vocabulary, our dialects may seem prehistoric to them as time progresses. Well in 2013, "twerk" and "selfie" are now considered official new words in the dictionary which has been accepted by society and caused nosebleed to grammar nazi and language purists.

First thing this 2014 would be a quick discussion of the new changes of blogging and how new updates and technologies also shaped blogging platforms and communities.

The latest stable release of WordPress (Version 3.8) gave great news with improved user experience and (hopefully) less bugs. Blogger on the other hand, has not made significant changes in the interface itself but rather affected by the changes in Google's algorithm which was called "hummingbird" and "Panda" as its predecessor.

Blogs has also made its way to a lot of news both national and international scope. Being a catalyst of personal opinion and news, it made a lot of viral impacts in several society and sometimes hoax and satirical blogs has blended in with mainstream media which many of their articles were thought to be true and caused online ruckus.

These things are both a boon and bane for bloggers as the popularity of blogs continues to rise, the improper use of it also caused unrest for many which left bad first impressions to new netizens. This new year, it is forecasted the integration of blogs and social media will continue to rise as well for its use in e-commerce.

And speaking of commerce, we might also see the rise of trading of online currency Bitcoin as it is now being recognized by many countries and even had an exchange rate for its value.

In conclusion, my fearless forecast for 2014 for blogs is that the local communities will indeed grow and will fuel competition for readership. Mobile blogging will also grow exponentially with the growing mobile market giving online access to more people. Unlikely online brands like insurance and arts will also rise this year as they are slowly transitioning to do promotion and marketing online.

Stay tuned for our new manuals for creating blog identities and adventures, yes you heard it right it will be ADVENTURE TIME!
