WHAT KIND OF BLOGGER ARE YOU?

We all know that Bloggers are more like a large family with a lot of Class, Species and sub-species. There are many kinds and classifications depending on their traits and even appearances. Knowing what kind of blogger are you can help you realize your blogging career direction. However, there are also some exceptions of mixed kinds and some continue to evolve which this writing has not yet discussed. Thus, the discovery of new kinds is like discovering a new kind of species and is worth to be defined.

Blogging would fall under the category of communication arts which is basically the mass media. They do also have their own family tree of diversity, but we will just focus on the category or we might end up with a complete volume of encyclopedia (for kids who don't know what are them, it's already a relic).

Blogger as we defined in the earlier blog post is someone engaged in creating articles, multimedia, and other new media used to share personal experiences, news, and information published in the world wide web. Bloggers again are writers in the world stage with their ideas posted in the busy and interactive network of information and data where it seeks to be discovered in the vast sea of binary and codes.

Bloggers can be group into many circles, but depending on the topics they find their expertise defines their overall look and category.

THE BASIC BLOGGER

This blogger is where most of the  bloggers came from. The regular person who has the passion of writing about things in his head usually about his/her life experiences and the things they want to share to all his virtual friends and readers. They usually love to write in their high school days which faces dilemma when they ran out of pages to write to. Now they have known how to type fast using the keyboard gave them more space to spill their piece of mind. They would blog about everything but with a personal touch. Depending on their writing skills, comprehension and critical analysis, writing style do vary and expect the range from poor to charismatic.

They look, simply like any average man or woman. Depending on their preferences, their appearances will vary. They would have at least a computer at home, or if not is a patron of the nearest computer shop. In today's generation, they might have started with doing very long post on Facebook which was driven by a lot of love or hate.

From this "form" the many types of bloggers will surface. Depending on their exposure to their environment and people will greatly affect the direction of the Basic Blogger into a more specific yet complicated types.

THE ENTERTAINMENT BLOGGER

Entertainment keeps the world sane with each performer and celebrity who influences the audience with different kinds of performing arts. And the Entertainment Blogger is the new generation of the usual tabloid writers which has already established personal-focused questions which sometimes would have gone too far from the event. Entertainment Bloggers have this wide network of sources about the latest gossip and news of stars, depending on the sources, many are highly-dependable but some can also be libelous.

Some entertainment bloggers are also invited to showbiz events and would also have the opportunity to face the stars personally. For those who don't go to presscons, would utilize sources (usually from the official website, trending topics or from other blogs too). Perks of entertainment bloggers would range from access to the stars, photo opportunities, and exclusive news that the public would never know.

Their appearance would be the young generation, either born from fanaticism or love to talk about local and foreign celebrities, movies, and even intrigues which keeps the business going.

Under this type are:
  • Movie Bloggers
  • Celebrity Bloggers
  • Fanbase Bloggers
  • Music Bloggers
  • Concert Bloggers
  • Dance Bloggers

We will continue to talk about more types soon, I don't want to snooze all the way to the end so let's just take a breather and  stay tuned!
