Blogger Issues Everywhere! How To Deal With Them

Whisk negativity away!
Blogging is never easy, newbies and veterans would have something in common to dread about in being a blogger. With my status today, my main dilemma would be the conflict of work to blogging and events. But there are also a lot of blogger problems that would arise usually when things become ugly with bad events, bitchy attitudes, and even politics.

Like any other profession, blogging is a socially inclined activity. We see, we experience, we write. But we are not always alone, there are hundreds to thousands of other bloggers out there which is also looking at what you are also seeing, experiencing and writing. As individuals we are also raised in different backgrounds, dramatic backstories, and interesting events leading to the blogger we are today. But this will NEVER always jive with others. In the internet world, haters is a fact we have to live with and cannot be avoided.

Despite that haters are here to hate, hate, hate. It is not advisable to dwell and swim in their pool of derogatory statements. There are ways to deal with them, however consider the consequences of your future actions as internet karma is always there to keep us all grounded and immortalized in memes and statements.

In my years in the blogosphere, there has been countless issues that have arisen and resulted in a lot of changes. Either it means the end of a long friendship, social media war, but sometimes also lead to revelations that goes very personal and dark.

You might ask if I also had issues with other bloggers, I won't say I don't. I have a list of people I don't want to see because of their attitude which is really ridiculous. But I always remind myself that after I let off steam, I have to focus to what I came for which is the brands and events I chose to support.

Personal opinions has a broad spectrum which goes from mild to extreme. And they are amplified by social media. We become more tactless and brave behind the keyboard, yet rarely the same sentiment when placed face to face with the enemy.

These issues between bloggers also affected the perception of brands to bloggers. As the newest form of media, the trust to engage with bloggers are sometimes halted with groups fighting which leads to no resolve. Thus the brand would look for other forms to avoid being part of the issue as well.

Blogger behaving badly could be address in many ways, however we chose the indirect approach rather than a vis-à-vis encounter to reprimand them on what they done. I guess this is rarely done because we don't want to cause a scene once it escalates. PRs and brands would choose to remove the person from their list as action. But if there is an opportunity to do so, better have them know.

Though some of these issues won't be resolved soon, we as a budding community should learn to live in the media ecosystem. As there will always be preadators, prey, users, mutual partners, and others, it's the reality of the world since the start of civilization. But don't also forget that this can also be a world full of love, support, and belongingness with a community.

Blogging is an adventure with many more experiences and issues, we can always adjust but also instill the pursuit of justice and equality.
